Tips for a electrician CV
Give your licence class and country
Write your licence or grade exactly as it appears on the card, and the country that issued it, for example "Electrician licence (Grade B), Jordan".
Name the standards you worked to
If you worked to a national wiring standard or regulations, name them. It helps an employer see how your training compares.
Split your work by type
Say whether your work was residential, commercial or industrial, and give one or two examples of the jobs you did.
Show your safety record
Mention safe isolation, testing and any safety training. If you have worked without a lost-time injury, you can say so, but only if it is true.
Add newer skills
Solar, battery storage, EV chargers or smart controls are worth listing if you have really worked on them.
Applying in another country?
Electricians who move abroad usually need a local licence before they can do electrical work. How it works is different in each country, so see the country guides.
