How it works
How to make your CV in 3 steps
Pick a template, add your details (with AI help if you want it) and download a PDF with working links. Here is each step in detail.
The three steps
Pick a template
Choose from 10 templates, from ATS Plain to Global Mobility. Classic and ATS Plain are free; all 10 come with a Pro Pass. You can switch templates at any time without retyping anything.
Add your details
Fill in each section in the editor. The preview next to it updates as you type.
- Your target jobEnter your current position and the job you are applying for, and paste the job ad (or upload it as a PDF, Word or text file). The AI uses it to suggest wording for that role.
- Personal detailsContact details, photo and social links. International formats are supported, including a photo and nationality where employers expect them.
- AI help where you want itUse the Generate with AI buttons to suggest duties and skills, write a career profile or rewrite a job description. AI writing uses 1 credit per action; editing is always free.
- Video and work photosAdd a self-intro video link (it becomes a play button on your photo), work photos and project video links.
- Optional sectionsAdd languages, licences, awards, Migration & Work Rights and more, only if you need them.
- A matching cover letterWrite a cover letter from your CV and the job ad, and sign it with your own signature.
Download a polished PDF
Check the exact PDF pages, then download an A4 PDF of your CV and cover letter, with clickable links and clean page breaks, ready to send to any employer.
Then, for each job
Tailor it for every application
One CV rarely fits every job. When you find a new job ad:
- Choose Tailor to this job in My CVs or the editor. You get a new copy with a career profile, skills and duties suggested for that job ad (2 credits). Your original stays as it is.
- Run an ATS check to see which of the ad's keywords your CV has (3 credits).
- Add a matching cover letter (2 credits).
