Build AI CV ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies to provide, customize, evaluate, and improve our Services. This Cookie Policy explains how and why we use these technologies and the choices you have.

Legal Registration: Build AI CV is a digital platform registered under and operated by Red Migration FZC, a company incorporated in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

2. What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Websites can also keep small amounts of information in your browser's own storage (such as "local storage"). In this policy, "cookies" covers both.

3. What We Use

We use what the website needs to work, and two analytics services that show us how the website is used.

What the website needs to work:

• Staying logged in: when you log in, our sign-in service (Firebase Authentication, a Google service) keeps your session in your browser so you don't have to log in on every page.
• Your unsaved CV: the CV you are working on is kept in your browser, so you don't lose your work before you log in or if the page reloads.
• Remembering you are logged in: our public pages keep your first name and that you are logged in, so the menu can show "Dashboard".
• Your editor settings: whether you prefer the step-by-step editor or all sections, and the step you were on in each CV.
• The home page demo: if you choose "Continue building this CV", the name, job title, template and colour you picked are kept in your browser for up to an hour so the editor can open them, then removed.
• Security: Google reCAPTCHA (through Firebase App Check) checks that requests to our servers come from our website and not from automated abuse. It may use cookies or similar technologies under Google's privacy policy.

Analytics: This website uses Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) to understand how visitors use it: which pages are viewed, how far a page is scrolled, which buttons and links are clicked, and the device, browser and country of a visit. Both services use cookies and similar technologies.

Microsoft Clarity also records clicks, scrolling and mouse movement as heatmaps and session replays; text typed into form fields is masked. Clarity runs only on our public pages and blog. It does not run inside the CV builder (the editor, your saved CVs and your account). Microsoft may also use this data for advertising, as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

We do not send your name, email address or the content of your forms to either service, and advertising features of Google Analytics are switched off. More information: Google's privacy policy.

The analytics cookies:

• _ga and _ga_<ID> (Google Analytics): kept for up to 2 years.
• _clck (Microsoft Clarity): kept for 1 year.
• _clsk (Microsoft Clarity): kept for 1 day.
• CLID and MUID (Microsoft): kept for 1 year.

4. Other Services You May Use

Some things you choose to do take you to another company's service, which may use its own cookies under its own policies:

• Google: if you choose "Continue with Google" to log in.
• Stripe: when you pay, you complete the payment on Stripe's secure checkout page, which uses cookies for payment security and fraud prevention.

If we add any other cookies in the future, we will update this policy before we do.

5. Managing Your Preferences

You can set your web browser to block or delete cookies and site data. If you do, the website may not work properly: for example, you may be logged out, or a CV you haven't saved online may be lost.
