Tips for a automotive technician CV
Name the brands and systems
List the vehicle brands you have worked on most and the systems you know well, such as hybrids, diesel or automatic gearboxes.
Add manufacturer training
Courses from a car maker or dealer group show your skills are up to date. Give the course name and year.
Show hybrid and EV safety
If you are trained to work on high-voltage systems, put it in your certificates. More and more workshops ask for it.
Mention your diagnostic tools
Name the scan tools and software you use. It tells an employer you can find faults, not only change parts.
Show your skills assessment status
If you have started a skills assessment for another country, add it with its status, such as "In progress". Only add it if it is true.
